The AIM Initial Strategy Consultation is a One-on-One Personalized 1 Hour meeting with an AIM College Advising Expert designed to introduce you to strategizing your college application.

An AIM Initial Strategy Consultation walks you through a detailed explanation of how the main drivers in College Admissions and scholarships apply to your child. We assess where the student is and outline the path to reach your college goals, identifying potential red flags and giving you recommendations on how to address them.

Choose your counselor. Choose your date & time.
Then you'll be prompted to answer a few questions and upload the latest report of your child's academic performance. This could be in the form of a Report Card, Unofficial Transcript, CSEC Certificate, CAPE Certificate, IGCSE/GCSE Certificate or equivalent.

MEET YOUR COUNSELOR
In your 60-minute meeting, your AIM Expert College Advising Counselor will show you how your profile will be assessed within the holistic admissions review process, based on which region you would like to apply to college. Your counselor will relay expert recommendations for your college admissions goals. Your counselor will lay out a timeline and strategy for every step of the admissions process. And finally, they will suggest the AIM program that will best support you through the entire admissions process.
BEHIND THE SCENES PREP FOR YOU
After your meeting, your AIM Expert College Advising Counselor will collaborate with other AIM Counselors to formalize a customized strategic action plan for the admissions process to be emailed to you, based on all that was discussed in your meeting. Generally, we ask for 48 hours to receive your plan.

Your personalized strategic action plan will be sent to you via email within 7 days of your consultation. It comes alongside further information on the AIM programs that we think are best for your child's college admissions journey. You can email your counselor with any questions you may have.
